2026-08-05 NewsLetter from Kiev, "Sokol Summer Camp"

You may have read my previous monthly Newsletters, and now you have our news from my place in Kyiv South Suburban
on a HOT sunny day at the beginning of August 2026 :)

1. I am sorry for the delay since my previous Newsletter - I was waiting until the Sokol Summer Camp finished to share
with you the emotions of happiness of the children who participated.

Now it's over, I've got more than 250 nice photos and videos, and you can see some here.

Mostly, the participants were from local refugee families and also from local neighboring area families who
have fathers/mothers in the Defense now.

At first, a group of teenage leaders received training in teamwork and agenda coordination, and then
participants received training in para-medical help if something happens, and the Camp Program started
on!..

Our RC President and Treasurer visited the Camp. They say they were impressed with the level of positive
emotions, happiness, and family spirit they felt there. Children received special training on medicinal herbs,
sports games, leadership training, and of course, dancing :)

On the final evening, they had a farewell concert - see the videos in the Facebook album.
